Together with the SECMAR project, Connect2SmallPorts organized an online forum at 1st of July 2020. As key-note speaker, we were happy to host Norbert Klettner from akquinet.
Starting at 10.30, both projects used the opportunity to introduce the audience to the own activities and action plans aimed for the future project implementation. In both cases, the Lead Partners David Appelberg for SECMAR and Christopher Meyer for Connect2SmallPorts represented their partnerships with a short presentation.
Following the project introductions, our key-note speaker Norbert Klettner took over to present the developed TOS system by akquinet. The company aims to optimize business processes in maritime sector through the use of integration of standard and tailor-made software. As managing director of the akquinet consulting GmbH, affiliated to the AKQUINET AG, Norbert Klettner is responsible for around 900 employees at the headquarter in Hamburg.
Norbert Klettner presented the developed TOS system with individual modules that can be transferred and used easily to any port. The cloud-based solutions allows fast installation and easy handling without larger IT requirements.
We as Project consortium were happy to have Norbert with us at this event and we are looking forward to working on pilot solutions to use the tools in small and medium sized ports.
