So far, especially companies from all over the world (e.g. DNV GL, HYUNDAI Heavy Industries, Liebherr, HEAT Nord, Mechlenburger Metallguß, IMO, Biarri, PALASZ, Pearl, etc.) show great interest in the objectives of the Connect2SmallPorts project and confirm the need to support small and medium sized seaports in the fast growing digitalisation trend, as well as provide product and service solutions in the maritime sector. Next to autonomous shipping, lower emission and ICT solutions, also interesting workshops about data mining and monitored Big data supply chain possibilities (e.g. through Biarri) had been discussed and presented.
