Through the work of our project Connect2SmallPorts, we are aiming to highlight challenges and opportunities of small and medium-sized ports – with success. The European Commission and INTERREG programs recognized the need to focus on ports in the upcoming funding period. This includes the elaboration of funds and financial support aligned to the priority of blue economy and ports in the future!
Therefore, INTERREG developed a short questionnaire to map challenges of Baltic ports. Based on the inputs, fund distribution will be discussed and decided, thus, this inputs are crucial to set the framework conditions and defining the thematic scope for future projects for ports in the Baltic Sea area.
