On the 6 of February, Connect2SmallPort project organized a workshop focused on blockchain and IoT technologies and their role in changing the business processes, particularly in the transportation and logistics sectors. The event was held in Klaipėda Science and Technology Park, Lithuania and became the first training of the project’s program of IoT implementation.

The first part of the event was led by Giovanni Di Noto – Board Adviser on Technology for organizations such as Omega Technology and cloudyBoss. The afternoon part of the event was boosted by Evaldas Kaziulis, a partner of the LNG cluster, representing Emerson Automation Solutions, automation technology, and engineering company. The event was concluded by a report dedicated to industrial robots, which was brought to Klaipeda by Profibus UAB, the official representative of the Japanese company YASKAWA, which installed about 60 and service about 100 robots.
