On the 5 – 8 November the Connect2SmallPorts Project was presented at the international fair Europort 2019. Companies from all over the world (e.g. Honeywell Enraf Tanksystem, Kawasaki Heavy Industries Europe B.V., Loewe Marine, DNV GL SE, MAN Energy Solutions, Liebherr, Mitsubishi Turbocharger & Engine Europe, Mitsubishi Kakoki Kaisha, Turku Repairs Yard, VDMA AG Marine Equipment and Systems, Würth, Volvo Penta Europe, HEAT Nord, Foro Maritimo Vasco, Wärtsilä, Robert Bosch GmbH Large Engines, Pearl, Scania CV AB, Schottel, Tallinn Shipyard, Trelleborg Marine Technology, etc.) showed great interests in the objectives of the Connect2SmallPorts and confirmed the need to support small and medium sized seaports in the fast growing digitalisation trend, as well as provided product and service solutions in the maritime sector.
