On 5-6th September, the Ports of Stockholm, Sweden hosted the Baltic Ports Conference, organized by the Baltic Ports Organization (BPO). The event brought together over 150 participants to discuss the key issues of the port business. The C2SP project was represented at the conference as well by Dr. Lawrence Henesey, Asst. Professor of Faculty of Computing at Blekinge Institute of Technology. The presentation “Case for Digitalization for Baltic Ports” covered the main activities of the project:

  • Digital auditing in Small Ports of the South Baltic region
  • Preparation of a Blockchain and Internet of Things Strategy for Small Ports in the South Baltic
  • Evaluation of Strategies and direct transfer of knowledge and experience within the Baltic Sea Region and Beyond

and introduced the up-to-date achievements of the project.
