On the 24th October 2018, the cross-border project called “Connect2SmallPorts”, part-financed in the frame of the Interreg South Baltic Programme 2014-2020 was kick-started at the premises of the Lead Partner Hochschule Wismar, University of Applied Sciences: Technology, Business and Design.
The Kick-off Meeting gathers project partners and associated partners in Wismar from Denmark, Lithuania, Poland, Sweden and Germany for two full days.
The partnership will work for the 36 months until June 2021 on improving small and medium-sized ports the quality and environmental sustainability of transport services in the South Baltic area, in particular by means of introducing and integrating digital technologies, for instance, Blockchain and Internet of Things in the small and medium-sized ports.
